The special circular parquet design of Sapphire is not a creation that comes lightly, and it has taken decades of learning for our master UK-based craftspeople to pull off this design, which we actually have registered - link registered. Each piece is handmade and single-fumed in order to emphasize the variation of the grain pattern, leaving the most beautiful patterns the natural world has to offer at the center of your project. The wood species used to create this floor is Aged European Oak, thanks to its versatility and striking appearance. We saw this timber into 20mm/ 3.4“ thick boards, with a 4-6mm wear layer, which ensures that this floor will stand up to the challenges presented to it; even in high traffic, Sapphire is unphased. Skip-sawn with scrubbed knots, we have achieved an undulating texture that you will want to run your hands across time and time and time again. This registered design is design number 5004469. Architectural details are available upon request and are made to complement the tonal values of your floor. Please care for this floor using Care System 2.
