Reims Antique Organic Oak has been restored by our highly skilled artisans to a Grade 1* level using the finest genuine sourced Antique French Oak. This wood demanded to be preserved. Throughout the entire restoration experience, our artisans assured that the original patina and historical features remain intact, ready to be selected by the select few who appreciate its true magic. It is for this reason that we use intelligent handwork to finalize this floor. Nothing else is added, just wonderous expertise in burnishing antique wood. The result is stunning, feeling naturally beautiful and understated at the same time. There is a strong mix of quarter-sawn and plain-sawn boards available in random widths and lengths, making this the most organic wood we have restored in Woodworks – especially with its pit-sawn surface. Architectural details are available for our antique and reclaimed floors, but the ultimate consideration is required to assure these best complement your floor as the original patina will be required to run through to these.
