With Macaulay, the formal elegance and old-money sophistication of the rich, conker-brown background meets contrasting near-black salients; the result being this imaginative and creativity-inspiring floorboard in plank, panel, and parquetry designs.
We can only guess how long this Antique Oak has been around. However, what we’re sure of is that every plank must have myriad fascinating stories to tell.
Flooring like this deserves the best. As such our artisans worked painstakingly to reclaim and recover this timber, then engineer it for a long life underfoot – protected, of course, by an extra-thick 6mm wear layer. Finally, a deep, lustrous, Burnished Hardwax Oil finish complements the oak’s naturally rich hues, maintaining their beauty for years to come.
We have an international reputation for our skills in reclaiming and restoring antique wood, and Macaulay is a prime example of what we do best.
