Having travelled halfway around the globe in order to salvage Teak floorboards from renovated Colonial Dutch East Indonesian homes, ready for yet another chapter in its illustrious adventure, we present to you, Indonesian Bleached Teak.
Teak is incredibly rare and hosts an array of never-before-seen patterns and antique imperfections, making no two boards the same, each hosting its own historical tale within its intensely tight grain. As such, these hand-sawn floorboards will be the piece de resistance in your next project, infusing rooms with intrigue and wonder.
Being such a rare and sought-after wood, holding natural history in every grain, we were determined to do this wood justice, allowing the rich colors and naturally occurring blemishes to be celebrated within each board’s gentle movement. Hand-rolled edges pillow each board for the ultimate flowing look, whilst bleaching beautifully exploits the silver grain by which Teak is defined
Architectural details are available upon request and are made to complement the tonal values of your floor. Please care for this floor using Care System 1.
